From the Desk of the President
As we head into a new rodeo year, I want to take a moment and reflect on the changes we made in 2022 and outline the plan for how we will continue to improve into 2023 and beyond.
First, with the added money set at $4,000 per event, we finally reached a level we hadn’t seen since 2014. It is still a far cry from the $10,500 per event of 2008 but we’re working toward that goal.
Second, last year was a year of transition. There was a lot of learning involved for everyone across the board as rules and technology never sit still. So now that we’ve been able to see firsthand how it’s worked in the past, expect to see a lot of growth in 2023.
And last, but not least, our goal is to make the Columbia River Circuit a desired destination for the top cowboy talent, top contract personnel and top stock contractors across the country. We want to support our amazing rodeo committees with the tools they need to produce the best rodeos for the amazing fans our sport attracts. But this can’t happen if we don’t run a transparent circuit with communication as its foundation. We want to ensure that you, our members, feel the circuit involves you and respects your input. Reach out to ANY board member with your questions, concerns, complaints, issues, comments and suggestions. Let’s make 2023 a year to remember!
Roll on, Brad Goodrich

Dustin’ the cobwebs off the website
We are updating the website and we need your input! We have added a member page where you can go to download the latest newsletter, request information, and pay your dues. You can also pick our brains about issues concerning your circuit challenges or, our personal favorite, make suggestions!
